The percentage of pupils achieving a 'good level of development' in July 2018 was 76% 

The national figure is 72%

To achieve a 'good level of development' a child has to attain, at least, the expected standard at the end of Reception in 5 areas of learning - Personal, Social and Emotional development, Communication and Language, Physical Development, Literacy (reading and writing) and Mathematics (numbers and shape, space and measure)

 

Year 1 phonics screening test

The percentage of pupils who passed the phonics screening in June 2018 was 84%.  92% of our core group (those who had been at our school throughout Reception and Year 1) passed the phonics screening check. 

The national figure is 82%
