Welcome to lower Key Stage 2. 

 

Please ensure that your child's reading book is in school everyday and it is signed.  We always begin our morning reading!

Swimming times this year are:  Year 3 every Wednesday afternoon and Year 4 every Thursday afternoon.  

 

 

As well as Swimming, PE will take place on a Friday where children will be learning lots of new sporting techniques within their physical education. PE kits MUST be worn: white shirts, black shorts and black PE pumps.   In addition, we will be working on a daily mile within the school day where children will have the opportunity to run a mile.  This has proved beneficial for children physically and mentally.

 

Swimming in Year 3 and Year 4 will be every Wednesday (Y3) and Thursday (Y4) afternoon at our local swimming baths. Swimming is part of the children’s programme of study.  All children will need a swimming bag with a towel and a swim hat.  Girls are required to wear a swimming costume and boys to wear swimming shorts.
