  • School closes for half term

    Please note that school closes for half term on Friday 16th February.  We start back Monday 26th February.  We wish our St Brigid's families and community a safe and happy break.  God Bless.
  • Another Busy Week!

    It's been an incredibly busy week at St Brigid's!  We had the swimming gala (Well done to all the children who participated and well done to the boys who have got through to the final!) .  We have had road safety workshops with Global Policing, a bullying workshop for parents with Global Policing and to end the week... a whole school Hansel and Gretel dramatic assembly, followed by a whole school writing day.  Wishing our whole school community a lovely weekend!
  • Poetry Day!

    It's Poetry Day at School on Friday!  Your child will have a day packed with reciting, performing, understanding and writing a poem.  Have fun researching poets before our fun packed day!  Matt Goodfellow will be visiting us for the day to deliver an assembly and workshops across the school.  Find out more about Matt Goodfellow on his web page!

  • NSPCC internet safety workshop

    Today at 9.10am, the NSPCC are doing a workshop for all parents - come along and find out how to keep your child safe on the internet.
  • Reading in Reception

    Would you like to find out how we teach reading in Reception?  Mrs Sinclair will be leading a meeting for all Reception parents on Tuesday 16th January at 9.10am.  Parents will be told about phonics and guided reading; we look forward to seeing parents there!

    Non Uniform Days!! Friday December 15th (Christmas Dinner Day) and Tuesday 19th December (Christmas Party Day) will be non-uniform days. For safety reasons, please make sure no make-up or large earrings are worn and that footwear is appropriate.  Many thanks for your continued support smiley
  • Christmas Hampers

     Christmas Hampers -  We are asking all children to bring in nonperishable food items or toiletries on Christmas Dinner Day (Friday 15th December). These goods will be packed into hampers for people in need over Christmas. List of items to follow. Thank you.
