  • No Blackpool trip this week

    Mon 16 Oct 2017

Dear Year 6 Parents, the office is in the process of texting all parents in Year 6.  Due to the weather warnings we will need to reschedule the Blackpool trip that should have been taking place tomorrow.  The safety of the children is a priority.  Blackpool has been issued a yellow weather warning for tomorrow - the bbc website says...

''A spell of very windy weather is likely on Tuesday in association with ex-Ophelia.

Road, rail, air and ferry services might be affected, with longer journeys times likely, and some roads and bridges could close. Power cuts may occur, with the potential to affect other services, such as mobile phone coverage. Some damage to buildings such as tiles blown from roofs, could happen. The warning area has been extended into northwest Wales to cater for very strong winds in the early hours of Tuesday, and also includes more of northern England.
